Rowan Run for a Cause 5K Run/Walk for Autism
A special thanks for all the participants for their support of Autism Speaks. Additionally thanks for those individuals that did not participate but donated to the cause. With the help of some great volunteers, the 5K Run/Walk was a great success. Special thanks to Lauren Blose for coordinating the event.

Overview: The 5k Race/Walk benefitting Autism Speaks will take place on Saturday, November 7th at 1pm. The 5K is a 3.1 mile race/walk, with the run entirely on the Rowan Campus. Rowan students, faculty/staff, Rec Center members, and any person from the community is eligible to participate. Divisions offered are Men's Student, Men's Non-Student, Women's Student, and Women's Non-Student. In the event that you would like to donate but cannot participate, donations will be taken at the race check-in table or at the Rec Center Front Desk. No streets will be crossed during the run. Check-in for the race will be from 12:15pm - 12:45pm at the Edgewood side of the Intramural Field. The event begins at 1pm. Please see the race map below so you are familiar with the trail, but volunteers will be stationed at certain locations to direct you in the right path.
Registration Information: The registration deadline is Tuesday, November 3rd at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost to participate is $15/person. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the captain and the participating teammates. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation. Each participant receives a Race/Walk T-shirt. Those that register after the deadline will not be guaranteed a race shirt. Each division winner will receive an intramural champion t-shirt. Varsity Track and Cross Country runners may participate, but are not eligible for prizes.
