4 on 4 Sand Volleyball Tournament
Congratulations to "We're Better Than You" for winning the Sand Volleyball Tournament.
Overview: The 4 on 4 Sand Volleyball Tournament is a self-officiated double elimination tournament which will be held on Saturday, September 19th beginning at 12 noon. The sand court is located behind Mimosa dorms, beside the outdoor basketball courts. A minimum of 2 players are needed to participate. The matches are best of 3. Rally scoring to 21, win by 2, with a cap of 25. If there are any plays where both teams disagree, replay will be ruled. Specific rule modifications for the tournament are listed in the attachment below. All other rules follow indoor volleyball guidelines, except that players are permitted to play the ball with a body part below the waist. Game ball is provided by the IM Department, but teams may agree to use another ball. An IM Supervisor will be at the site to ensure the tournament is running properly.
Registration Information: The registration deadline is Tuesday, September 15th at 7 pm. Registration forms must be turned in to the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost to participate is $10/team. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the captain and the participating teammates. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation. Forms are in .pdf format
