Three Point Shot and Free Throw Contest

Overview:

Both events offer men's and women's division. Three point contest consists of shooting 10 shots total, with 2 form each spot (baseline, corners, and top of the key). Each shot is worth 3 points. All shooters get 1 halfcourt shot which is worth 10 points. The Free Throw contest consists of 20 free throws. Each made is worth 1 point. By hitting at least 15 of the first 20 free throws, participants are awarded 5 bonus shots. If all 25 free throws are made, continue to shoot until a miss. The individual with the most points for each competition wins an intramural champion t-shirt.

Registration Information:

The deadline for the Three Point Shot and Free Throw contest is Tuesday, February 26th at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost is $10/team. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the the participants. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation.

The Three Point Shot and Free Throw contest will be held on Friday, February 29th at 4pm in the Recreation Center Basketball Courts.
