Overview:

7 players in Men's and Women's, with a minimum of 5 to start. Co-Rec is 8 on 8 and may play with equal or 1 less/more of each gender. For Co-Rec, female must touch ball in offensive end of field prior to shot. Two 20-minutes hlaves. No overtimes in regular season. Metal tipped or metal cleats are prohibited. Slide tackles are illegal and result in an automatic ejection (red card). Ejected players may not be replaced (play shorthanded). Two yellow cards results in a red card and player ejection.

Registration Information:

The deadline for the 7 on 7 Outdoor Soccer League is on Tuesday, February 26th at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost is $30/team. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the captain and the participating teammates. Teams must submit an availability, with all open times they can participate. Rosters are open during the season and additional players may be added each contest until the playoffs. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation. Failure to turn in the proper forms and payment by the deadline, may result in the team not being able to participate or being assessed a $15 late fee.

The mandatory captain's meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 9:45pm at the Rec Center Group Exercise Room. Any teams not represented at the captain's meeting will be assessed a $15 fee for missing the meeting. If the team captain is not available, a team representative must attend. This meeting will go over the playing procedures and rules for the season and is also an opportunity to ask questions. Free agents are available at the meeting.
