Regular Season Schedule

Overview:

The 10 on 10 Softball League is played on weekdays and weekends. Games are 7 innings or a 50-minute time limit. No extra innings in regular season (results in a tie). Must have a minimum of 8 players per game to avoid a forfeit. NO base stealing or bunting. NO SLIDING! Each base can be overrun similar to running to 1st base. For Co-Rec, outfielders must line up behind the 175 foot line when females bat. Must have lineup with alternating male and female for Co-Rec teams. If a male is walked, a female may choose to take 1st base for free or hit.

Registration Information:

The deadline for the 10 on 10 Softballl League is on Tuesday, February 26th at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost is $30/team. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the captain and the participating teammates. Teams must submit an availability, with all open times they can participate. Rosters are open during the season and additional players may be added each contest until the playoffs. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation. Failure to turn in the proper forms and payment by the deadline, may result in the team not being able to participate or being assessed a $15 late fee.

The mandatory captain's meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 9pm at the Rec Center Group Exercise Room. Any teams not represented at the captain's meeting will be assessed a $15 fee for missing the meeting. If the team captain is not available, a team representative must attend. This meeting will go over the playing procedures and rules for the season and is also an opportunity to ask questions. Free agents are available at the meeting.
