6 on 6 Street Hockey League

Overview:

Street Hockey will be played 6 on 6 including a goalie. The game will consist of three 12 minute periods with 3 minute intermissions. The Intramural Department will provide the goals, balls, and some equipment for goalies. Please read the rules section for a more detailed version of the Street Hockey rules.

Registration Information:

The deadline for the 6 on 6 Street Hockey League is on Tuesday, March 10th at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost is $20/team. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the captain. Teams must submit an availability, with all open times they can participate. Rosters are open during the season and additional players may be added each contest until the playoffs. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation. Failure to turn in the proper forms and payment by the deadline, may result in the team not being able to participate or being assessed a $10 late fee.

The mandatory captain's meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 9:15pm at the Rec Center Group Exercise Room. Any teams not represented at the captain's meeting will be assessed a $10 fee for missing the meeting. If the team captain is not available, a team representative must attend. This meeting will go over the playing procedures and rules for the season and is also an opportunity to ask questions. Free agents are available at the meeting.
