**ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER FOR IMLEAGUES.COM IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN INTRAMURALS.**
After the captain creates the team through IMLeagues, individual players must request to join that team and will then be accepted or rejected by their captain. Any player who does not sign up for IMLeagues and who does not join a team through IMLeagues WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!
The 5 on 5 Basketball League consists of 5 divisions: Men's, Women's, Fraternity, Sorority & Co-Rec. The men's division will be split into two divsions: NBA (Competitive) and a NCAA (Recreational). Each registered team will receive at least 4 regular season games. The top 2 teams from each division will qualify for the playoffs, provided they have a sportsmanship average of at least 3.5. Criteria for playoff selection is based on this order (Win%, Head to Head, Sportsmanship, and Point Differential). Teams owing a forfeit fee or that have forfeited 2 contests are not eligible.
The games will be 20-minute, running halves, with the clock stopping the last 2 minutes of each half for any dead ball situation. Teams must have at least 4 players checked in to avoid a forfeit, and teams have a 5 minute grace period to check-in for the game. The team not checked in can be penalized 3 points per minute (maximum of 12-0 lead) at their opponent's discretion. Players foul out at 5 personal fouls. Co-Rec teams may play with 3 men/2 women, 3 women/2 men, or 2 men/2 women. Female baskets are worth 1 additional point, and men are not permitted to block a female shot. All other rules will use NFHS (High School) guidelines.
Teams that fail to arrive to their scheduled game will be assessed a $15 missed game fee.
All participants must show valid Rowan ID, sign waiver, and take off jewelry prior to game. All participants must abide by shirt color policy (dark or white...NO GRAY) and at least a 3'' number on the front/back of the shirt/jersey. Numbers may not be applied using tape.

The registration period for the 5 on 5 Basketball League is Monday, January 14 - Monday, January 28. Registration will take place through IM Leagues, but payment must still be made at the Rec Center front desk. The cost is $30/team. Payments accepted includes Boro Bucks, cash, credit, debit or check (made out to Rowan University). All registrations must be fully completed with the team's availability by the captain via IM Leagues. IM Leagues will have predetermined timeslots for different leagues, so the first teams to register will have first choice as to what division and what times they will play their games. Rosters are open via IM Leagues during the season and additional players may be added until playoffs begin. In order to be eligible for playoffs, the participant must have played in at least one (1) regular season game prior to the start of playoffs. All participants must register for an IM Leagues account and fill out the waiver on IM Leagues prior to participation. Failure to register and make the team payment by the deadline may result in the team not being able to participate or being assessed a $15 late fee.
