4 on 4 Wiffleball
**ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER FOR IMLEAGUES.COM IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN INTRAMURALS.**
After the captain creates the team through IMLeagues, individual players must request to join that team and will then be accepted or rejected by their captain. Any player who does not sign up for IMLeagues and who does not join a team through IMLeagues WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!
The wiffleball league will take place on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings. There are 4 players: Pitcher, catcher, and 2 infielders. Games are 6 innings or a 30-minute time limit. No Fastballs allowed!!! A pvc strike zone will be set up behind homeplate and covered with a plastic bag. If the pitch hits any part of the chair or bag, the pitch will be called a strike provided that it was a legal pitch. Cones and the natural boundaries of the Basketball court will be used to determine the result of a batted ball. If a ball is fielded cleanly inside of the first row of cones, the batter will be called out. If the ball drops beyond the first level of cones, it will be considered a hit. Balls striking the divider on the fly will be either a single or double depending on where the ball contacts the divider. Homeruns are issued when balls travel over the divider or past the furthest line of cones on the fly. The IM Department will provide wiffleballs and bats. Teams may use their own bats, but both teams must be able to use it.

The registration period for the 4 on 4 Wiffle Ball league is Monday, January 20 - Monday, Feb. 3. Registration will take place through IM Leagues, but payment must still be made at the Rec Center front desk. The cost is $20/team. All registrations must be fully completed with the team's availability by the captain via IM Leagues. The Wiffleball league will take place on Friday and Sunday afternoons, so teams must submit their availability for these days via IM Leagues in order to be eligible to participate. Rosters are open via IM Leagues during the season and additional players may be added until playoffs begin. In order to be eligible for playoffs, the participant must have played in at least one (1) regular season game prior to the start of playoffs. All participants must register for an IM Leagues account and fill out the waiver on IM Leagues prior to participation. Failure to register and make the team payment by the deadline may result in the team not being able to participate or being assessed a $10 late fee.
The tentative start for the Wiffleball Season is Sunday, February 9th.
