Intramural Graduate Assistant

New to Intramurals this year, the Intramural Graduate Assistant helps the Director in all aspects of the intramural program including marketing, training of officials, officals' evaluations, captains' meetings, and much more. The goal of the Graduate Assistantship is to develop the professional skills needed to run an intramural program at another university. This position serves as a "go between" from being an undergraduate to becoming a profession in NIRSA.

Intramural Managers

Our intramural managers are an integral part of the program. They assist the director in planning, scheduling, and administering all the major team sports. They also assist in programming individual/dual sports and special events. These individuals have progressed to the highest level position with the intramural department. Some of our current and past managers are pursuing or are current graduate assistants in Campus Recreation through the NIRSA.

Intramural Supervisors

Our intramural supervisors are responsible for each game site. They are prepared for all situations regarding officials, team schedules, checking in participants and insuring proper procedures. Each are CPR certified and are knowledgeable of emergency action procedures and dealing with participant injuries. Intramural Managers also assume duties as supervisors. These individuals are also some of our best officials and do a great job mentoring new officials.
