Summer 2016 Sessions Schedule

Summer 2016 University Housing application will open up the week of 3/21/16. Students who are interested in living on campus for the summer session must be enrolled in Rowan University courses or be employed by a Rowan University department. Students who wish to live on campus during the summer session should submit their housing application through MyHousing ( no later than 4/15/16 at 11:59pm.

*Students will be charged the daily rate for the complex they are residing in for any dates they are approved to reside on campus prior to the start of their session or after their summer session has ended.

Summer 2016 Housing Rates:


Rowan Blvd. Apartments

$28 per day
Triad Air-conditioned Housing $20 per day
Triad Non Air-conditioned Housing $11 per day

These rates shall not apply to clients renting use of these facilities through the office of Conference and Event Services.

*Students who are approved to move over to their fall assignment on 8/6/16 will do so from 9:30am - 1pm. You will be notified via email by our department if you are to particpate in this move over process.

Summer 2016 Housing Cancellation Policy

The Terms and Conditions of the university housing contract stipulate that students are financially obligated to the contract until a request to cancel is approved by the University.

The deadline to request to cancel with no penalty is five (5) business days after the student selects a space during room selection, or the University notifies the student of a confirmed housing assignment. To submit your request to cancel your housing assignment within this 5 day period, please log on to and click on MyHousing under the Student tab, click on GoToApplyOnline where you can then submit your cancellation request. You will need to complete the application titled "I want to cancel my Summer 2016 housing application".

Cancellation of the summer housing contract after the May 8, 2016 deadline will result in a $75.00 cancellation fee.

Requests submitted after May 8, 2016 will only be approved due to withdrawal, graduation or leave of absence, participation in an approved academic program, marriage or domestic partnership, or medical, financial or other hardship. Requests after this date are subject to the fees and pro-rated refund schedule detailed in the contract. Any requests submitted after May 8, 2016 should be via written letter/email to Lindsey James, Housing Assignments Coordinator, either via email at, hand deliver the documents to the Office of Residential Learning & University Housing in Savitz Hall 1st floor, fax them to (856) 256-4475, or mail them into our office at:

When you have submitted all of the required documentation, it will be reviewed by the Director of Housing Assignments & Administrative Services in conjunction with appropriate personnel staff in the Student Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services Center, Financial Aid Office or any other appropriate office(s) based on the circumstances presented in your cancellation request. You will be contacted via your Rowan email address once a determination has been reached on your request or with details regarding additional documentation you must submit.
