Upon acceptance to the University, freshmen and transfer students will receive housing and meal plan information from the Admissions Office. Please visit the following pages:
Rowan University Mandatory Housing Policy: All unmarried undergraduate full-time students, under the age of 21, with fewer than 58 credits are required to
live in University housing, unless they will be commuting from a parent or
guardian’s home within 40 miles of the Rowan campus. Those who will not be living in the residence of their parents or legal guardian within a 40 mile radius of campus, must reside in the university resident facilities until completion of their second academic year (or four full-time semesters). Students who plan to
commute must file for commuter status by submitting a notarized Statement of
Student Residence form.
