Student Worker Job Openings

The Office of Residential Learning and University Housing is offering student worker positions for the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters. The types of positions offered are for paint crew, project crew, tech crew, housekeeping, and office worker.

The major responsibilities of project crew are to remove and replace furniture, including couches, tables, and beds, throughout the residential buildings. The major responsibilities of paint crew are to paint bedrooms, hallways, and common areas throughout the residential complexes. Please keep in mind that the halls are not air conditioned and conditions will be hot. The tech crew is primarily responsible for addressing any outstanding work orders related to internet, phone, or cable. The housekeeping crew will be working with the RLUH housekeepers to maintain the buildings. Light cleaning of living rooms, bedrooms, and common areas and trash removal will be expected. Office workers are required to do clerical work assigned by the Residential Learning and University Housing staff. Delivering items around campus is necessary.

Starting salary will be $8.00 per hour. All crews will work up to 20 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. Housing will not be provided.
