Residence Halls

Rowan University's two-hundred acre campus currently features eight residence halls and four apartment complex's with a variety of living and learning environments. Each hall has numerous programs geared towards the resident along with a twenty-four hour staff of trained Resident Assistants and public safety representatives. Nestled among the trees in historic Glassboro, New Jersey, the on-campus residence halls and apartments house over 2,000 students. Freshman halls are indicated by the following (*) next to the name.

Chestnut Hall Chestnut Hall*

Chestnut Hall is designated as one of the five freshmen halls which has special programming geared towards the "First Year Experience" of living on campus. The building houses up to 390 students on three floors. Arranged in same gender suites that can accommodate 5 to 16 students, and each suite shares a large common bathroom and lounge. Hallways and lounges are carpeted and furnished with couches and chairs.
 
Evergeen Hall   Evergreen Hall*

Evergreen Hall is designated as one of the five freshmen halls which has special programming geared towards the "First Year Experience" of living on campus. The building houses 240 students and is nestled in the trees on the South side of the campus adjacent to Mullica Hall. It consists of six co-ed floors. Each floor consists of suites which are divided by two rooms joined by a bathroom. All suites are designated same gender.
 
Magnolia Hall   Magnolia Hall*

Magnolia Hall houses up to 210 freshmen students each on three floors. Arranged in same gender suites that can accommodate 5 to 16 students, and each suite shares a large common bathroom and lounge. Hallways and lounges are carpeted and furnished with couches and chairs.
 
Mimosa Hall   Mimosa Hall*

Mimosa Hall is designated as one of the five freshmen halls which has special programming geared towards the "First Year Experience" of living on campus. The building houses up to 340 students on 4 floors. The building consists of same gender suites made up of 2-3 rooms that share a common bathroom.
 
Mullica Hall   Mullica Hall

Mullica Hall houses up to 135 students on three floors and is nestled in the tress on the South side of the campus adjacent to Evergreen Hall. It consists of three co-ed floors. Each floor consists of suites which are divided by two rooms joined by a bathroom. All suites are designated same gender.
 
Oak & Laurel Hall   Oak & Laurel Hall

Oak and Laurel Halls houses 65 students each on three floors. The buildings were originally constructed in the late 1920's and refurbished back into residence halls in 1997. Arranged in same gender suites which can accommodate 8-14 students. Located in the suite is a one or two bathrooms.
 
Willow Hall   Willow Hall*

Willow Hall houses up to 210 freshman students each on three floors and has special programming geared towards the "First Year Experience" of living on campus. Arranged in same gender suites that can accommodate 5 to 16 students, and each suite shares a large common bathroom and lounge. Hallways and lounges are carpeted and furnished with couches and chairs.
