Co-Sponsorship Opportunity

Rowan After Hours would like to offer your organization a unique opportunity to sponsor a program or event at little to no cost to your group. RAH can provide a venue, promotion, and both financial and logistical support for your event, so why not take advantage of this already successful program?

The three tiers of programs (listed on the back of this page) explain the different types of events you can cosponsor with RAH. Look over that information and determine what type of event would be best for your organization. Fill out the attached interest form, drop it off to Student Center Room 117 and someone from RAH will contact you with in about a week to set up a meeting and discuss the details. At the meeting event logistics will be determined and a co-sponsorship contract will be completed that details each parties responsibilities.

All co-sponsorships depend on availability of space and resources. The earlier you submit the Interest Form, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your request. All RAH programs take place between the hours of 9pm-1am on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and are always free to all Rowan Students.

RAH Co-Sponsorship Tiers

Tier 1 ↓

These events are typically smaller and already planned by RAH. This is a great opportunity if you don’t have a lot of time and you are looking to get your organization’s name out there.

Types of Events:

  • Host the Friday night movie
  • Host the Karaoke Room
  • Have a promotional table at RAH with information about your organization
  • Host the craft area
  • Host a Dance Room

Organization's Responsibilities:

  • Form must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to event's date.
  • 2-5 individuals help on event night for set-up/clean-up
  • Completion of pre-event contract
  • At least 1 pre-event meeting, 1 post-event meeting
  • Event evaluation

RAH Provides:

  • Advertise on RAH website, Facebook, Twitter, and Rowan Announcer
  • Listed on RAH flyer/pit poster **time permitting
  • Event suport
  • Any necessary supplies for event


Tier 2 ↓

These events require a little more planning and man-power in order to accomplish. a larger part of Rowan After Hours and interact with more RAH participants.

Types of Events:

  • Open Mic Night
  • Karaoke in the Pit
  • Game Tournament (Video game, board game, cards, etc.)
  • "Make it and take it" item

Organization's Responsibilities:

  • Form must be submitted at least 7 weeks prior to event's date.
  • 5-9 individuals help on event night for set-up/clean-up
  • Completion of pre-event contract
  • At least 2 pre-event meetings, 1 post-event meeting
  • Event evaluation

RAH Provides:

  • Advertise on RAH website, Facebook, Twitter, and Rowan Announcer
  • Listed on RAH flyer/pit poster **time permitting
  • Event suport
  • Any necessary supplies for event
  • Digital signage


Tier 3 ↓

Tier 3 events require a lot of planning and preparation. If you are looking to host a major event that will draw a large crowd and are committed to putting in a lot of hard work- this tier is for you.

Types of Events:

  • Full themed night
  • Cultural Festivals
  • Competitions (Dance Off, Talent Show, Battle of the Bands)

Organization's Responsibilities:

  • Form must be submitted by Novemeber 30, 2012 for Spring 2013 programs and March 29, 2013 for Fall 2013 programs.
  • 10+ individuals help on event night for set-up/clean-up
  • Completion of pre-event contract
  • At least 3 pre-event meetings, 1 post-event meeting
  • Event evaluation

RAH Provides:

  • Advertise on RAH website, Facebook, Twitter, Rowan Announcer, listed on RAH flyer, pit poster, OSA calendar Listing, Digital signage
  • Contracting/artist negotiation support
  • Event suport
  • Any necessary supplies for event
