About our Committees!

Live Events
The Live Events Committee meets weekly to discuss the different comedians, lecturers, musicians, and novelty acts we bring to campus. We discuss exactly how we'll execute the events as they come during the semester, as well as planning for events next year. In addition to execution, we work in conjunction with the SUP Promotions Committee to discuss how we'll get the word out to the students. If you're interested in anything from looking at and negotiating contracts, to executing an event, to making sure tickets get sold, the Live Events Committee is your next stop.

Cinema
The cinema committee is in charge of organizing and running movie nights during the semester, as well as assisting the director in the selection of movies to be played each semester.

Special Events
Are you looking to be very active in SUP? Then the Special Events Committee is the one for you! Special Events does monthly novelty that is free to all Rowan Students. Special Events also takes on two large events each semester that takes a lot of planning and originality. If you are creative, work well with others and are looking to have a lot fun, this is the committee for you!

Promotions
The Promotions Committee organizes all promotional materials for SUP events. These promotional materials include Student Center Pit Posters, Residence Hall/Apartment fliers, Rowan Daily Mail announcers, etc.

Off Campus
Off-campus committee members help plan off-campus trips for the following semester. They also are eligible to student lead trips which means they go for free!

Technical Services
The Technical Services committee is behind the scenes for a lot of shows put on by SUP. We run lights and sound for events ranging from comedians to lectures to full band setups. We also do events for any organization on campus who requests tech help.
