When do I declare a major?

Students at Rowan University need to declare a major when they have successfully completed 60 credit hours.

When should I see my advisor?

Students should always see an academic advisor at least once a semester. You can contact the CAP (Career and Academic Planning) Center to make an appointment or meet with an advisor within your academic college. Visit the CAP Center at http://www.rowan.edu/studentaffairs/cap/.

How do I make sure my major is right for me?

When and how do I get an internship?

An internship experience can be a very beneficial experience and is sometimes required by major specific majors. Sophomore year is the perfect time to explore the internship process and opportunities. There is an internship fair in the fall hosted by the CAP (Career and Academic Planning) Office. What do I need to know about financial aid during my sophomore year?

It is important to remember that students need to fill out a new FASFA form each spring. Aid and scholarships do vary from year to year so it is important to plan ahead.
