The purpose of the student-run programming board, Student University Programmers (SUP), shall be to provide Rowan University students with a quality experience by planning an array of diverse, educational, and entertaining programs.

Director of Cinema
Cinema Meeting Times: Wednesday's at 7:30p in the Student Center - Room 117

Every Wednesday throughout each semester is movie night hosted by the Cinema committee. If you love movies and are free on Wednesday evenings - join the Cinema committee. Volunteers help organize and run each movie night - making popcorn, serving students, et cetera each week. Each semester, they get to assist the director in selecting the movies for the upcoming semester.
Director of Off-Campus

The Off-Campus committee plans trips that take you away from Rowan's campus for the day. One of the best part's of being a Rowan University student is the location. We're 2 hours from New York City, 2 hours from Baltimore and Washington D.C., 45 minutes from Atlantic City, and only a half hour from Philadelphia. Our close proximity to major metropolitan areas provides for lots of opportunities to travel. Committee members get to offer ideas for where to go, help plan the itenerary for the day's trip, and are elligible to student lead the trip. Being a student leader on a trip comes with a lot of responsibility - like making sure everyone attending has a ticket, Rowan ID, and that they make it back to Rowan. As a way to say thanks for being responsible and helping out - your ticket fee is on us! Love traveling? This committee is for you!
Director of Signature Events

Signature Events are annual events that are big and require a lot of time and planning. Some of those events include Holiday Helper in the Fall and St. Baldrick's Day in the spring. If you're looking to join a committee that plans events that give back, Signature events is for you.
Director of Marketing

The Marketing committee is in charge of the marketing and promoting of SUP's events. Members of the committee strategize and plan the best way to market each event, organize the materials and make it happen. Some of the promotional materials the committee handles include: Student Center Pit Posters, Residence Hall/Apartment fliers, Rowan Daily Mail Announcements, and more! This committee also has a street team to ensure that students really know what is happening. If you are interested in getting experience in event marketing, creative, and/or looking to have fun - marketing is for you!
Director of Live Events

The Live Events committee meets weekly to discuss comedians, lecturers, musicians and novelty acts to bring to campus. Committee members help generate ideas for new events and plan the best way to execute upcoming events. The Live Events committee works closely with the Promotions committee to develop maketing strategies. If you're interested in learning how to negotiate contracts, host ticket sales, and produce overall successful live events this committee is for you. Some of their events include big comedians and Profstock, our annual spring concert.
Director of Special Events

Are you looking to be a very active committee member? Volunteer with Special Events. Special Events hosts monthly novelty nights FREE for all current Rowan students. The committee also sponsors two large events per each semester. They include Winter Ball, Spring Fest and more. These events take a lot of planning, originality, and creativity. If you are creative, work well with others and are looking to have a lot of fun - join us!
Director of Technical Services

Technical Services provides the tech, like sound and lighting, for all events sponsored by the Office of Student Activities. The tech services committee gives you behind-the-scenes experience for live events like comedians, lecturers, and bands. Don't know anything about tech? No problem. We're here to teach you and with our state-of-the-art, professional-grade equipment you'll be learning on what the pros in the business use daily. The tech services committee also provides tech for other organizations on campus for a small fee. Committee members will be given the opportunity to work these events as well - great for having fun, learning something new, AND building a resume.
