History
The concept of the Student Center was introduced in 1964 with a committee organized by the Student Government Association. Mission The Chamberlain Student Center serves as a safe and welcoming environment with unlimited opportunities for personal development and enhanced learning experiences. Through quality services, programs and facilities, the Student Center is "more than just a building". Vision Everyone who walks through the doors of the Chamberlain Student Center will experience the best services, programs and staff while developing a lifelong connection to the university. Student Center Core Values Student Development – We will strive to create an environment that enhances student learning, self-discovery, exploration and leadership development by providing a variety of opportunities for students to complement their classroom experience. Community Building- We believe in cultivating a climate where everyone sees themselves as a part of an inclusive, respectful community. Most importantly, we will foster an environment where collaboration, participation, care and concern for others is modeled. Integrity – We will be accountable for and take pride in our actions. We believe in honesty, fairness and high ethical standards; embracing professionalism and trust as the foundation of our organization. Service Excellence – We are dedicated to providing consistent service to our community. Most importantly, we will focus on making student and customer satisfaction a #1 priority in all that we do.
