What is a Learning Community?

A Learning Community is a living and learning freshman experience where you can choose to be a part of a program that will:

• Enhance learning and educational experience.
• Integrate the academic, intellectual, and social development of students
• House students in the same residence hall
• Register students for two integrated and linked general education courses
• Provide supportive programming to assist in major selection, occupational exploration, and career planning.
