Rowan OKs degree program for nurses

Nurses in South Jersey soon will be able to further their education closer to home.

The Rowan University Board of Trustees approved a resolution Wednesday authorizing a joint degree program with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, which will let registered nurses pursue a bachelor's degree without leaving South Jersey.
