Planetarium brings outer space indoors

Rowan University in Glassboro opened its Fredric and Jean Edelman Planetarium to the public Saturday, offering programs including "Oasis in Space" about the search for other worlds like Earth; a tour of the summer night sky; and laser show set to the music of Radiohead. The planetarium's 102-seat auditorium is in Science Hall, which opened in September. "Oasis in Space" starts at 9 p.m. Fridays and 7 p.m. Saturdays, "The Summer Sky" at 8 both nights, and the laser show at 10 both nights. Admission for the early shows is $5 for adults adn $3 for children; and laser shows costs $7.
