Book explores shore towns' long history

If you miss a frame, you miss a lot.

So when the Rowan University geography professor embarked on a project to publish a guide to the state's beach resorts, he wanted it to be more than a cursory look at the here and now.

Stansfield wanted Vacationing on the Jersey Shore to be filled with so many interesting and revealing stories that people would want to return to it again and again, much like the shore itself.
