Final 2007 performances set at Rowan planetariumDecember 11, 2007
Final performances of two public shows will take place Saturday night, December 15, at Rowan University's Edelman Planetarium.
"The Great Space Race" is a multimedia presentation of the historic contest between the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R. to put a man on the Moon; this show starts at 7 p.m. "Laser Zeppelin" is a spectacular combination of laser images and music by Led Zeppelin; this show starts at 8:30.
Admission fees for either show are $5 for adults, $3 for children under 13, $3 for Rowan students, and $3 for seniors over 60. The planetarium is located on the north side of Route 322 on the Rowan campus, in the Science Hall.
The planetarium will be closed following these performances. It will reopen with a star show entitled "Ring World 2" and a laser show featuring the music of Sublime in late January. Current planetarium information is available at www.rowan.edu/planetarium.
