Rowan hosts annual career fairJanuary 17, 2008
The Rowan University Colleges of Business, Communication, Engineering and Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapter of the College of Business are jointly sponsoring the campus-wide Rowan University Career Fair on Tuesday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Recreation Center.
The career fair will provide an opportunity for businesses to discuss career opportunities, specific job openings and internships with Rowan students. Potential employers will be given the opportunity to set up a booth, distribute information about their company and network with students. Rowan University students will be invited to distribute resumes and discuss their future. More than 100 employers already have registered for the event.
The fair brings together employers and students from the technical, business, communication and other fields. The event welcomes students seeking full-time careers, part-time jobs and internships in the areas of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering (chemical, civil and environmental, electrical and computer, and mechanical), mathematics, physics, accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, management information systems, human resources, advertising and public relations, among others.
The cost is $150 per table (two seats per table), and lunch is included. The inclement weather date is Tuesday, March 4.
