College of Business awards Galvin scholarships

The Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University has awarded $1,000 Anthony J. Galvin scholarships for the spring 2008 semester to freshmen Kevin Brown, of Lake Hiawatha, and Christina Mobilio, of Robbinsville.

The school presents four scholarships a year to full-time students in a degree program who possess excellent potential to become successful business practitioners, including demonstrated communication, leadership and teamwork skills as well as a strong work ethic and participation in extracurricular activities. Brown and Mobilio are the latest recipients of the renewable scholarships.

The scholarships are funded by Anthony Galvin, of Point Pleasant Borough, a1989 business administration alumnus of the University and member of the dean's advisory board for the Rohrer College of Business.
