Rowan to host annual March for Babies event

Walkers from throughout Gloucester County will come together at Rowan University on Sunday, April 27, to raise funds to help babies at the annual March for Babies to benefit the March of Dimes.

Proceeds raised from the events will be used to support lifesaving research, community services, education and advocacy, according to the March of Dimes web site.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. for the 6.5-mile walk, which kicks off at 9 a.m. and winds through Glassboro. The walk was previously known as WalkAmerica, but the name was changed this year to better reflect the event's mission, according to the March of Dimes.
