South Jersey 25 are named
June 19, 2008The Philadelphia Business Journal and Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business have identified the fastest-growing 25 businesses in southern New Jersey at the South Jersey 25 Awards luncheon this past Thursday, June 12th.
The finalists' ranking order was first revealed at the luncheon yesterday at the Currents Ballroom of the Adventure Aquarium in Camden from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. A supplement in the Business Journal's June 13 issue profiled some of the winners and included ranking data about the companies.
"These are companies that have found the keys to unlock fast revenue-growth," said Business Journal Editor Bernard Dagenais. "They are also bright spots for the future, providing jobs and paychecks, while contributing to the region's tax rolls."
The event is sponsored by Archer & Greiner, P.C., the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, Premium Seating at Comcast Spectacor, PNC Bank, and Currents: The Ballroom at Adventure Aquarium.
The 2008 winners in ranking order are as follows: 25-InOutsource, 24-GB Collects, 23-Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc., 22-Cory Communications, 21-McCloskey Mechanical Contractors, 20-Dorothy Farnath & Associates, 19-Scientific Search, 18-Arsenault Associates, 17-ETSec, 16-Miles Technologies, Inc. 15-Gilbraltor Construction Corporation, 14-ComTec Systems, 13-Vendorseek.com, 12-Tripod Technologies, 11-BCG Securities, 10-GDG Consulting, 9-Elauwit, 8-Team Builders Plus, 7-Hydro-Marine Construction Company, 6-IT Evolutions, 5-Pro Computer Service, 4-Shades of Paper, 3-Ameriquest Transportation Service, 2-New Edventures and number one was proudly awarded to SolarWorks, NJ, a company that sells, designs and installs solar energy systems for commercial and residential applications and was recognized for their significant growth of 4,336.09%!
