Rowan site for "South Jersey Working Together"

Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business will host the fourth annual “South Jersey Working Together” conference on Thursday, June 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Rowan Hall (the College of Engineering building off Bowe Blvd. in Glassboro).

A joint effort of public and private tax professionals, the conference promotes the relationship between the tax practitioner community and the Internal Revenue Service with the goal of improving service to the taxpaying public.

The conference is open to IRS employees and the practitioner community. Topics include IRS Examination Issues: What’s New with Exams, an Reducing the Tax Gap; IRS Collection Issues; IRS Campus Issues: Economic Stimulus; and Circular 230.

The day is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Association of Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Enrolled Agents, New Jersey Bar Association, New Jersey Chapter of the American Association of Attorneys, New Jersey chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants and New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
