Rowan hosts Graduate School information sessionAugust 26, 2009
Rowan University will host a Graduate School Information Session on Saturday, September 12, at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of Rowan Hall, the College of Engineering building off Bowe Boulevard in Glassboro.
The session is open to recent college graduates (B.A./B.S.); individuals already in the workforce who are looking to get, keep or advance in their current career by getting an advanced degree; those who are looking to switch jobs/careers and need the advanced credentials to do so; and people who simply have a love of learning.
Attendees will have an opportunity to explore graduate studies at the doctoral, master’s, certification, endorsement and post-baccalaureate levels. Rowan staff will review The Graduate School’s more than 50 graduate programs in all six academic colleges: Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, Fine & Performing Arts, and Liberal Arts & Sciences.
They also will address program and career opportunities, the graduate admissions process, financial aid options and the graduate assistantship program. Graduate School staff and individual graduate program advisors will be on hand to personally answer questions.
Students who apply to The Graduate School during this event will be waived the $50 application fee.
Those interested in attending should pre-register by visiting www.rowan.edu/graduate/info/register.html or by emailing The Graduate School at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling Kathy Pasquarella at 856-256-4050.
