Rowan, Philadelphia Business Journal extend South Jersey 25 deadline
March 11, 2010The Philadelphia Business Journal and Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business have extended the deadline for applications for the Fourteenth Annual South Jersey 25 Program to March 16.
South Jersey 25 honors the top 25 fastest-growing, privately held companies in South Jersey.
To be eligible, companies must be headquartered in either Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean or Salem counties; be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a subsidiary or division); have a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal year 2009; and have sales at or above $75,000 in fiscal year 2007. Firms may be self-nominated or nominated by another company.
There is a two-step application process that includes providing copies of financial statements and/or tax returns with an independent accountant's signature. Researchers at Rowan University will review the applications and rank the top performers based on the percentage increase in sales from 2007 to 2009.
The ranking order of the top 25 will be revealed June 10 at the South Jersey 25 Awards luncheon at Merion Caterers, Cinnaminson, and will be featured in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s June 11 edition.
