Rohrer College of Business hosts business conference on sustainability
March 19, 2010The Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University will host its second annual Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Conference on Sustainability Practices in Learning Organizations on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rowan University Student Center Eynon Ballroom.
The conference is designed to facilitate an exchange of ideas, share best practices and create collaborations.
This year's keynote speaker will be Richard P. Miller, president and CEO of Virtua. There will also be a special presentation by the West Philly Hybrid X Team of West Philadelphia High School and multiple presentations by academic, corporate and non-government organization participants.
The plenary panel includes David Stangis, vice president of CSR and sustainability at Campbell Soup, Camden; Anndria Gaerity, sustainability director of PSEG, Newark; Evan Walsh, director of global media relations at SAP, Newtown Square, Pa.; and Richard S. Dovey, president of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority, Egg Harbor Township.
Students, faculty, business people and others are invited to attend. Students may attend for free. Registration is $25 for faculty and others. Lunch is included.
