Rowan hosts science, technology, engineering and math symposium
April 22, 2010Close to 100 student and professor teams from Rowan University’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programswill showcase their research in the 2010 Rowan University STEM Student Research Symposium on Friday, Apr. 23, (Morning Session: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., Midday Session: Noon - 1:30 p.m., Afternoon Session: 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.) in the Eynon Ballroom in the Chamberlain Student Center.
The topics the teams will present on are wide ranging. Some of note are:

- Spinal cord repair
- Kite-generated power
- Wind farms
- Virtual reality games design
- Homing pigeons
- Nuclear power plant evacuation plan
