Comp. Sci. prof leader in Broad St. run
May 05, 2010Rowan computer science Associate Professor Seth Bergmann won first place in the male 60-64 category at the 2010 Philadelphia Broad Street Run on Sunday, May 2. Bergmann finished in 1:09:37, beating the next place finisher by 2 minutes and 6 seconds.
Starting at Broad Street and Somerville Avenue, the Broad Street Run Ten Miler is the largest ten-mile race in the United States and featured approximately 26,000 runners this year, according to the event’s website. Donations and pledges received by runners directly benefit the American Cancer Society.
