New Jersey poet to read at Rowan

Kathleen Graber, a finalist for the 2010 National Book Award, will read from her works at Rowan University on Monday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Westby Hall Art Gallery.

A former high school English teacher, Graber wrote her first poem at age 35 during a workshop in Cape May.

In 2005, she won the Saturnalia Award for her first book, Correspondence. Her second collection of poetry, The Eternal City, was published by Princeton. Her pieces, "The Magic Kingdom" and "The Drunkenness of Noah," have been featured in The New Yorker.

The reading is free and open to the public.
