Rowan to open Wednesday, resume classes on Thursday

Rowan University will open on Wednesday, but classes will resume on Thursday, Nov. 1. The medical school will resume classes on Wednesday.

While we are very fortunate that the campus came through the storm with little damage and we are ready to open on Wednesday, we understand that different parts of the state were not as fortunate. The extra recovery day will give students a chance to plan for a safe return.

Students who may not be able to return for classes on Thursday, should notify the Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students Office by calling 856-256-4283 and contact their professors.

Since the University will be open on Wednesday, all employees are expected to return to work. Employees who cannot return, should contact their supervisors.

All residence halls remain open and food service is available today, Tuesday. All facilities in all locations will be open on Wednesday.
