Rowan professors to explore links to Russia, Chechnya in Boston bombingsApril 22, 2013
Two Rowan University professors will weigh in on the connections between Russia, Chechnya and the bombings at the Boston Marathon during “Understanding the Boston Marathon Bombing: What’s the Link to Russia’s North Caucasus?” on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in Room 3091-B of James Hall at Rowan University.
History Professor James Heinzen and Political Science Professor Lawrence Markowitz will present the talk. Heinzen is an expert on the social, political and cultural history of the Soviet Union. Markowitz specializes on identity politics in Russia and Central Asia.
