Rowan to Host Technical Career FairJanuary 16, 2003
Rowan University will host South Jersey?s Technical Career Fair on Thursday, February 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center?s Eynon Ballroom.
The Career Fair is open to employers throughout the region, who will be able to set up booths, distribute information about their companies and network with students. Students from the University?s technical majors will be invited to distribute resumes and discuss opportunities with the employers. The Career Fair is particularly designed for employers in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering (chemical, civil, environmental, electrical and computer, and mechanical), management information systems, mathematics and physics. The event welcomes students seeking full-time careers, part-time jobs and internships.
The Career Fair is being sponsored by the University and the University?s student chapters of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, Association of Computing Machinery, American Chemical Society, American Institute of Physics, and Association of Information Technology Professionals.
