Rowan Hosts Lunar Eclipse Gathering

WHO: The Astronomy Club, Astronomy faculty, members of the Rowan community and area residents will attend

WHAT: The Science Hall Observatory / Total Lunar Eclipse Open House

WHEN: on Saturday, November 8, 2003 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (weather permitting)

WHERE: in Rowan University Science Hall

DETAILS: The Science Hall Observatory will be open to allow visitors to tour the observatory and view the partial and total lunar eclipses expected that evening. The partial eclipse can be viewed starting at 6:30 p.m. and the total eclipse from 8:06 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by another partial eclipse. Binoculars and telescopes will be provided.

(Note: The event will be cancelled if the sky is overcast.)
