Douglas Cleary, William Riddell, Harriet Hartman and Jennifer Kadlowec
Douglas Cleary, Civil Engineering; William Riddell, Civil Engineering; and Harriet Hartman, Sociology, received the 2008 Best Paper Award from the Women in Engineering Division at June's American Society for Engineering Education Conference in Pittsburgh for their "Analysis of Applicant Data to Improve Recruitment of Female and Underrepresented Engineering Students," presented by Cleary. Hartman also presented a paper, coauthored with Jennifer Kadlowec, Mechanical Engineering, and Moshe Hartman, on "The Impact of Bio-Engineering: Part I: Do Bio-Engineering Students Differ from Other Engineering Students? Preliminary Results."
