Gina Di Medio Marrazza, director of Rowan Prep at Rowan University, joined host Matt Kazin to discuss Rowan Prep--a community music program. Taking students as young as infancy through adult age, Rowan Prep offers music lessons to people in the Glassboro community. Marrazza explained different classes people can enroll in as well as the future of the program.

Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author Michael Vitez joined host Tyler Mulvey to discuss his new book "The Road Back," written via CreateSpace, the story of Matt Miller's miraculous recovery after an almost tragic bike accident. Originally a series of articles for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Vitez continued to follow Miller's story and decided to pen the book.

Dr. Jenny Taitz, a clinical psychologist at the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy joined host Matt Kazin to discuss eating disorder trends in young girls. Dr. Taitz mentioned the emphasis people place on how they look physically with pressures coming from magazines, pop culture and even one's parents. Later, Dr. Taitz mentioned possible reasons why people think so critically of their appearances.

Dr. Wes Crenshaw, couples and family psychologist, joined host Matt Kazin to discuss the always-relevant topic of bullying. Dr. Crenshaw explained how social media plays a part in 21st century bullying as well as the changing face of bullying in the young girl population. Later, the term "mean-kid behavior" bullying was explained and why it is the most popular form of bullying among young people. Finally, Dr. Crenshaw outlined three words parents should avoid when having discussions with kids.

In a special edition of A Community Affair, Student Station Manager John Salvatore spoke with Glassboro students and coordinators involved with the Learning Stages production of The Wizard of Oz, held at Glassboro High School on Thursday and Friday July 12th and 13th. The students discussed the audition and rehearsal process for the show. Later, Renee Post, executive director of Learning Stages, talked about the importance of education in arts for the students involved in the productions.

He discussed ways people can keep safe from different types of fires and effective methods for teaching children fire safety. Finally, Pacewicz talked about how ordinary civilians can help aid firefighters.

New Jersey State Safety Council President Bill Margaretta joined host Matt Kazin to discuss driving safety. The NJ State Safety Council seeks to reduce accidental death and trauma. Margaretta brought up facts and figures pertaining to cell phones and driving and drivers' impairment when using mobile phones while driving. In addition, Margaretta made comparisons to using a cell phone while driving to driving under the influence.
