Lindsey Giannini and Mike Kellenyi joined host Matt Kazin to discuss the Don't Text and Drive campaign. Giannini, who is Miss Atlantic County, spoke about what inspired her to start the campaign. In addition, Kellenyi, who works at Highway Safety Systems Inc., spoke about taking on Giannini's project and how following the death of his daughter, it became his personal mission to help save lives by preventing destracted driving accidents.

Assistant Public Affairs Director, Tyler Mulvey spoke with Carey Palmquist, Executive Director at Operation Warm, an organization that helps provide new winter jackets to children in need throughout the United States. Palmquist discussed how Operation Warm gets coats, often through schools and nonprofit organizations, to children as well as Operation Warm's efforts to help Hurricane Sandy survivors.

Public Affairs Director Matt Kazin talks with Don White about his book EMP Protection: What's Next? The book talks about ways people and the government can protect themselves and their communities against electromagnetic pulses. Don is a registered professional engineer, retd., holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Maryland. He is past CEO of three small Electromagnetic Compatibility companies in metro Washington, D.C., one of which traded on NASDAQ.

He has consulted for two of the top fifteen franchises in the world, and has founded numerous successful companies. He currently sits on the Board of Directors at Liberty Tax Service.

Rasmussen spoke about what made her want to get involved in career consulting, which started as her writing resumes for her friends in college. Assistant Public Affairs Director Tyler Mulvey spoke with Ricki Chaikin, star of the Nat Geo hit show "Abandoned." Her role on the show is to make sure her husband, Jay, is bringing home profitable antique items and co-owning JC Woodworking. Chaikin discussed what goes into a typical episode of "Abandoned," and how she met her husband. Finally, Chaikin spoke about funny stories that go on behind the scenes.

Bill discussed the need for businesses and the State to do more testing to increase safety for workers, products and consumers.

She also spoke about the preparation she goes through to make sure she's ready for the Miss America pageant. A Rowan graduate student, Petrosh mentioned what she hopes to do beyond pageants as well as the experience she has here at Rowan.

Komen for the Cure organization as well as the work the Central/South Jersey Chapter does in the community.
