How
do I obtain a Rowan Network Account?
If
you are a new faculty or staff member and need
a network password/e-mail account, you can enter a request
at http://support.rowan.edu
or have an existing department member send an e-mail to
support@rowan.edu
Please include your full name, social security number, department
name and telephone extension. You may also visit our office
located in Memorial Hall North. Make sure you have proper
ID such as a Rowan ID card or a photo driver license.
If you are an incoming student you need
to visit http://www.rowan.edu/password/reset
- The system will ask you to verify personal information
about yourself, including your SSN and home address.
You
can also visit the Rowan University Information Resources
Support Desk located in Memorial Hall - South, First Floor.
Another option would be to fax a copy of your Rowan ID or
a photo driver license to the Support Desk at (856) 256-4444.
Please include your social security number and a return
fax number. We will fax your information back to you. If
you have any further questions please call the Support Desk
at (856) 256-4400 during normal business hours.

How
do I change my password?
You
can change your Rowan Network password by visiting http://www.rowan.edu/password
Passwords
need to be a minimum of 8 characters long and contain 2 of the following: a capital letter, a number or a special character.
PLEASE NOTE: This page will not change
your Student Self-Service (formerly Web for Students) or Web for Faculty password. These
sites have their own seperate username and PIN.

What
if I forget my username or password?
Faculty/Staff:
If you forget your username or password you can
call the Support Desk at 856.256.4400 for assistance.
Students:
You can view your username and reset your password
by visiting http://www.rowan.edu/password/reset
The system will ask you to verify personal information about
yourself, including your SSN and home address. If you need
further assistance, you can call the Support Desk at 856.256.4400.

Can
I change my username?
Except
in very special circumstances for employees, such as marriage
or divorce, the answer is no. We have certain naming conventions
that we abide by. Employee usernames are last names followed
my letters from the first name when needed to avoid duplicate
usernames.
Student
usernames are the first 6 letters of the last name followed
by 2 random numbers or 1 number and 1 letter. We never change
student usernames once they are created.

you are an employee and your name does change as the result
of a marriage or divorce, you can contact the Support Desk
at 856.256.4400 or support@rowan.edu
