There
is no cost for this software when used on a University owned
computer. Information Resources has a University Site license
for most Microsoft software products.
Microsoft
Campus Agreement for Rowan University
If you
need Microsoft software installed on a University owned
machine please contact the Support Desk at x4400. Let the
staff know what software package you need installed. A work
order will be generated and someone from Network and System
Services will install the software for you.
Rowan
University has a campus wide site license for Microsoft
software products including the following:
Office 2007
Office 2008 for Mac
XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Visual Studio *
Project 2007 *
*There
is currently no support for these programs.
The user assumes all risks when using these packages.
Purchasing
Microsoft products for use on an Employee's home computer
Microsoft
software is available to faculty and staff for home use.
The software must be purchased through your department.
You cannot purchase this software using personal
funds, it would be a violation of our license agreement.
(This software is not available to
students for their personal computers. Students can purchase
Microsoft products from the University Bookstore)
If you would like to have the CD copies of the media
for your use, please contact Marc Fleischner in Network and
System Services at extension 4471 or by e-mail at fleischner@rowan.edu.
A Microsoft Products Order Form
must be completed and faxed to extension 4404, along with a
departmental charge authorization (DCA) form. The original
DCA form is sent to the Budget Office in Bole Hall for processing.
The cost of the software is $25.00 per CD and the account
to be credited is 10110-22010-7015-16
If you need Microsoft products other than the ones listed
above, you must purchase a license at regular academic pricing.
