About this Online Training

CustomGuide's online learning module was purchased May 2007 for use by faculty, staff, and administrators employed at Rowan University.  This online training uses a web-based learning management system (LMS) that allows each user to track his/her progress and assess knowledge. It provides over 100 hours of web-based, self-paced, interactive lessons addressing topics as follows:

Personal Computer (PC) --------------------------- Computer Basics Access 2003 (2007 anticipated     late summer) Excel 2003, 2007 Outlook 2003, 2007 PowerPoint 2003, 2007 Project 2003 Windows XP Word 2003, 2007

Macintosh (Mac) --------------------------------- Mac OSX Tiger Word 2004 for Mac

Please note: This online training allows for up to 20 concurrent user licenses, meaning only 20 individuals may be logged into the system at the same time.  If all licenses are in use, the message Login Failed. Maximum Concurrent User Limit Exceeded. appears below the login window.  Individuals will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Key Features

• Search--search all content in the online library by keyword or phrase.
• Assessment--test your knowledge of a topic.
• Track Progress--track what lessions are complete, incomplete, and not started.
• Reports--print or email progress reports of completed lessions or assessment scores.
• Certificates--print or email certificate of training after completing a class chapter.
