Past Exhibits TONY ROSATI: Paintings and Prints September 29 - October 31, 2008 Opening Reception: October 2, 2008, 5 - 6:30 PM (with Gallery Talk) Acclaimed artist Tony Rosati is a printmaker and painter. A graduate of Tyler School of Art and Rider College, Rosati is currently the Chair of the Printmaking Department at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. This exhibit features recent monotypes and paintings. His subject matter of landscape is presented both realistically and using lyrical abstraction. Distorting color and form, Rosati addresses feelings of yearning in his visual expression of nature. His work is represented in a number of major public collections including the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A brochure will be available to complement the exhibition. Please note: a special "Preview" Gallery Talk will take place on September 27, @ 11 AM as part of Rowan University Family Weekend. All welcome and free of charge.
