Graduate Financial Aid

Graduate Financial Aid

Matriculated students who are pursuing a graduate degree at Rowan University may be eligible for some types of student financial assistance, including but not limited to student loans and graduate assistantships. Graduate students must follow the same steps as undergraduates in applying for federal loan assistance. The receipt of some types of awards, including fellowships and tuition waivers, may decrease student loan eligibility.

In order to be eligible for most aid programs, a graduate student must be enrolled at least half time.

  • Full-time status = 9 or more credit hours
  • Half-time status = at least 4 1/2 credit hours

Note: the above enrollment requirements pertain to individual Summer Session Enrollment as well.
