B.S. in Data Analytics

Program Overview
Our online Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Analytics program is designed to meet the high and rising demand for data analytics professionals in the region and beyond, and will equip its graduates with a strong background and skills in data collection, exploration, analysis, visualization, presentation and dissemination. Through a structured curriculum that provides skills-based knowledge, students will be able to pursue a wide range of data analytics positions in any industry, such as: data analysts, data-driven decision makers, functional analysts, data systems developers, business analysts and analytics managers.
The program is also available as a 3+1 program through our Rowan College partner institutions (Rowan College of Burlington County [RCBC] or Rowan College of South Jersey [RCSJ]).
We’re a transfer-friendly school. We offer resources to help you see how your previously earned credits from a community college, a four-year institution or military training will transfer to this program. Our Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Analytics program requires the completion of 120 credits of approved general education and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.

The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan University Office of Admissions will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items.

- No application fee! The application fee is waived for all Rowan Online undergraduate programs.
- First-Year Students:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- If applicable, official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of the number of credits earned)
- Transfer Students
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of the number of credits earned)
- Minimum of 12 earned college-level credit hours
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Successful completion (C- or better) of:
- Calculus I/Applied Calculus or equivalent
- Statistics I or equivalent
