Management Information Systems Certificate (CUGS)

Program Overview
Our online Management Information Systems Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) program is primarily for non-business majors who are interested in learning how information systems can be used to support business operations and achieve organizational strategy. The two required courses in this program introduce students to the basic business functions and address the key components of information systems - organizations, people, software, hardware, data, and telecommunications - and how these components can be integrated and managed to play an essential role in creating competitive advantage. Students will then be able to choose two electives depending on what area of information systems they would like to further explore.
We’re a transfer-friendly school. We offer resources to help you see how your previously earned credits from a community college, a four-year institution or military training will transfer to this program. To explore this further, check out the Rowan Transfer Equivalency Digital Portal (TREQ) or Transferology.
Our Management Information Systems Certificate of Undergraduate Study program requires the completion of 12 graduate credits (four courses).
