Program Overview
Our online Pre-Business program is currently open to transfer students only. This is a non-degree program similar to the Exploratory Studies Program, designed for students specifically interested in Business. Pre-Business and Exploratory Studies are both housed in University College. The Pre-Business plan of study is designed to ensure students will be on track for any undergraduate major within the Rohrer College of Business (RCB) assuming entrance requirements are met. Click here for more information pertaining to the Pre-Business program course sequence.
We’re a transfer-friendly school. We offer resources to help you see how your previously earned credits from a community college, a four-year institution or military training will transfer to this program. To explore this further, check out the Rowan Transfer Equivalency Digital Portal (TREQ) or Transferology.
The Pre-Business program requires the completion of 120 semester hours (30 credits must be completed at Rowan University) of approved general education (first-year students beginning Fall 2024 or later must meet Rowan Core requirements) and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
