About Me

Catherine J. Fedorka, MD, practices in the Glassboro and Voorhees office locations of the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute.  She completed an orthopaedic shoulder and elbow fellowship as part of the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program at both the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her orthopaedic residency training just across the bridge at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine after completing medical school at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Fedorka matriculated from Colgate University with a bachelors of arts in chemistry.

She has been an active researcher and has been published in multiple academic journals including Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Journal of Arthroplasty, American Journal of Orthopaedics, and Spine. She has also presented her research at regional, national, and international conferences.

While Dr. Fedorka treats a wide variety of orthopaedic injuries and fractures, she has a special interest in shoulder and elbow surgery, including shoulder replacement surgery (total shoulder arthroplasty, reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, and revision shoulder arthroplasty), athletic injuries of the shoulder and elbow, shoulder arthroscopy (including rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability surgery, biceps surgery etc.), and upper extremity fractures. Dr. Fedorka is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopic Association of North America, the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, and the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society.
